WiFi Mtaani

An Internet Service Provider (ISP) is a company that connects homes, businesses and organizations to the internet. ISPs build and maintain the network infrastructure that allows customers to browse websites, stream videos, make video calls, send emails and use online services.

Depending on the provider, internet access may be delivered through fiber optic cables, wireless radio links, mobile networks, satellite or DSL.

What does an ISP do?

An ISP typically provides:

  • Internet connectivity
  • WiFi installation and setup
  • Business internet solutions
  • Static IP addresses
  • Domain and email hosting (some providers)
  • Technical support
  • Network maintenance and monitoring

Some ISPs also offer additional services such as cloud solutions, cybersecurity and managed IT services.
